Hi Sweet Friends!
I can't believe how quickly the summer flew by this
year.
I've been so busy with all sorts of stuff, and time just slipped
away.
The days are growing shorter, a few leaves have begun to change, and the crickets are singing their little heads off each night at
soon as it begins to get dark...a sure sign that fall is about to start!
There was a huge bin of pumpkins sitting outside the
grocery store entrance yesterday. I felt my heart smile as I walked by.
:)
I hope you all had a lovely summer, and you too are
looking forward to a beautiful, fun-filled autumn!
To celebrate the onset of this lovely season, next Sunday I'll pick a name out of my hat, and one of you will win the pumpkin pin below.
Thank you for your visits and the kind comments you left over the past few months.
See you next week. Good luck!

xo

DeleteWelcome back! Summer has been all too short this year and it's so sad to see the trees turning colour already (and some of them are losing their leaves too).
ReplyDeleteGood evening dear Paulette.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you posting... I have found the older I get the faster time goes by.. You are so right, I don't know where the summer went either.. Now all I need is for the summer weather to go away..tee hee

Paulette,
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkin pin is lovely and I would love to be surprised as the winner of it to wear on all my favorite fall outfits being it is my favorite season as I was born in Oct.
I love seeing all your lovely creations. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow, they are so pretty, thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteHi Paulette, so good to see you. I love the colors that surround us in the Autumn: russets, browns, maroons, velvety greens and burnt oranges... You have captured the spirit of the pumpkin in your pin-so cute.
ReplyDeleteLove your Scotty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely brooch and wouldn't it look good all the way "Down Under" yes...Australia.
ReplyDeletelove, love, love the pin! but then, you KNOW how i feel about your work!
ReplyDeleteso? how the heck are ya? i took my house off the market and am now redecorating. little crafting getting done but i've become queen of the recycle and spray paint! my hubby used to tell me.... don't toss it, spray paint it... and boy was he right. i'm having a ball.
also have a grandson (the 1st boy). his name is liam and he is not 6 months old and gorgeous (but, of course, he is LOL).
fall-like weather has finally come to the midwest. the sandwich fair came and went which means summer is officially over, and truth be told... my fall decorations are all around the house (inside and out) and a friend of mine brought me over 4 good-sized pumpkins that she grew herself! yep. life is good.
hope all is well with you and always good to see your gorgeous work!
big hugs :)
I noticed the grocery store putting pumpkins out yesterday - not sure if I'm ready for fall yet, although it's my favorite month - summer just seemed so short after the very long winter we had. So glad to see you back - was hoping it was just because you were busy. Love these little pins - your work is wonderful - so much detail!
ReplyDeleteI always love the approach of fall....the leaves begin to turn an olive green and sky becomes the most beautiful clear blue color. The other seasons seem to arrive in a hurry but fall takes it's time and shares it's beauty! Love the pin another masterpiece with your felt, beads and needle.

Deb

ReplyDeleteHello Sweet P! I'm so glad to see your little pumpkin doggy pop up in my feed, him and his cute lil sunflower bum! I hope you've had a great, if busy, summer! It really seems to have come and gone in a flash this year, no? I've barely blogged myself, shame shame. It's been so hard to focus on computer stuff this summer when real life is calling and I want to be outside soaking up the sunshine and the river and the mountains! Blogging just seems to get left by the wayside. Ah well, we'll catch up when the weather is crummy and there are no good movies, books or stitching to occupy us, right? LOL!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Autumn, Paulette! OXOXO!
Dear Paulette,
ReplyDeleteHow sweet of you to come visit Tilly and her big blue chair.. Your very kind words always make me smile.
