Bits of This and That...

Hi Girls!

I hope all you lovely ladies are doing just fine.  I want to thank you for your visits and the sweet comments you always leave.  It's something how just a few words can brighten up a day! :)

It's starting to look more and more like spring each day.  Things are beginning to pop up and sprout all over the garden, including things I'm allergic too.  Even when I'm covered up and wearing gloves, I still manage to get rashes.  My husband is forever telling me to stay out of the garden, but each year I jump right back in...and just like now, I sometimes pay for it with a bad case of poison something-or-other!  :(

With Easter just days away, bunnies and soft colors have been in my thoughts and on my worktable.
My sister and I had a white rabbit named Puffy when we were kids.  Dad built her a heated hutch, and she lived happily in our backyard for years and years.  Although we never put a dress on Puffy, I decided this little bunny needed one!

Here's a little more of what I've been up to...
A heart pin with lots of beads, sequins and sparkle!  ;)

A crazy quilt-ish looking pin. (with emphasis on the "ish" part!)

A tiny pin in a bezel setting.  I love this and I'm working on some more.
Isn't it just so neat and tidy looking?   ;)

I remade a pin that I first did a few years ago.  Here are a couple of those...

Plus a few lambs, cupcakes and other things that I'll save for another post.  I've been very busy stitching my nights away.  It's amazing all you can get done when you can't sleep...until you crash that is!

Recently I received a beautiful gift for my sewing room from a special, super talented friend...

Meri created this "Beedeebabee"  heart sculpture just for me!  Happy dance! Emoticon

I've admired her whimsical, wonderful artwork for such a long time, and now I have a piece to call my very own!

I hung it on the wall above my computer,  where I keep lots of goodies special friends have sent.   I can't help but smile when I look up at all these pretty things...reminders of such sweet friends.  Now Meri's heart has a spot right there with the rest of my treasures!

Thank you so much Meri! xo

You can visit Meri's blog and see more of her beautiful artwork here at Imagimeri's Creations.

Hopefully, you girls are finding some time to do a bit of what you love to do, even if like me...it's in the middle of the night!

See you real soon!
xo
